Πέντε άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους και δυο αγνοούνται, από πτώση ελικοπτέρου στην κεντρική Ιταλία.

Το ελικόπτερο κατέπεσε σε ορεινή περιοχή των Απενίνων, η οποία βρίσκεται στα σύνορα των περιφερειών της Τοσκάνης και της Εμίλια Ρομάνια.

 Εκτός από τον πιλότο, επέβαιναν σε αυτό τέσσερις Τούρκοι μάνατζερ και δυο Λιβανέζοι. Σύμφωνα με τα ιταλικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, ο Ιταλός πιλότος φέρεται να προσέκρουσε σε πλαγιά κοντά στον χείμαρρο Λάμα, σε υψόμετρο 1.922 μέτρων.

Στο σημείο έσπευσαν δυνάμεις της ιταλικής Οικονομικής Αστυνομίας, της Ιταλικής Πολεμικής Αεροπορίας και του Τμήματος Παροχής Πρώτων Βοηθειών των Αλπίνων.
